When to rent

Rentals are for cases where you need the same number for more than one inbound SMS, or for a window longer than 60 minutes. Typical: long-term 2FA, multi-day signup/KYC flow, research bench. For single-code verifications, Activations are cheaper.

Available duration_minutes: 60, 240, 1440, 10080 (week), 43200 (month). The longer the window, the lower the per-hour cost.

Inbox

Every inbound SMS is stored:

Each message: text, sender, received_at. Webhook rent.sms_received pushes them in real time.

Auto-renew

Turns on automatic renewal — the number is re-rented for another term the instant it expires, so you keep the same number with no gap. Send {"enabled": false} to turn it off.

Cancel

Cancel within the first 30 minutes for a full refund. After that, the rental runs to term — no partial refunds.
