How to automate account creation
Phone verification is the bottleneck in automated signups. Here is the architecture — numbers, OTP, idempotency, and staying within terms.
Automating signups — for QA, load testing, or multi-account operations — comes down to clearing the phone-verification step reliably. Here's a robust shape.
Architecture
- Provision a number per account from the API.
- Drive the signup (HTTP client or a browser via Playwright/Puppeteer).
- Read the OTP via webhook (or poll).
- Finish the order so you only pay for delivered codes.
- Idempotency: pass an
Idempotency-Keyso a retry never double-buys.
const order = await eveses.orders.create(
{ country: 'ua', mode: 'activation', service: 'yourapp' },
{ idempotencyKey: `signup-${runId}` },
);
// …submit phone, receive code via webhook…
await eveses.orders.finish(order.order_id);
Do it responsibly
Automating account creation can violate a target service's terms. Use it for your own systems — QA, staging, load tests — or where you have permission. For scale, rotate countries/services based on the live availability the API reports, and back off on failures.
The economics work because numbers are cheap (from $0.05) and missed codes are refunded, so a flaky target doesn't burn budget.
