Phone Number Rental API
Rent a stable number for days-to-months and receive its SMS over API the whole time.
The Phone Number Rental API reserves a dedicated number for a fixed period so you can receive repeated inbound SMS on a stable line — for long-running accounts, monitoring, or multi-step verification. Manage rentals, read messages, and extend or release, all via REST.
How it works
Rent a number
Create a rental for a country and duration; the number is reserved for you for the whole period.
Receive messages over time
Every inbound SMS is available via REST and webhooks for the life of the rental.
Extend or release
Prolong the rental before it expires, or let it lapse — all through the API.
Code examples
Rent a number and read its inbound SMS (activation flow shown; rentals expose the same message API).
# 1 — request a number for the service
curl -X POST "https://api.eveses.com/v1/numbers/orders" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $EVESES_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"service":"any-rental","country":"us"}'
# → { "id":"act_9f2", "number":"+1202555••••", "status":"waiting" }
# 2 — poll for the code (or use a webhook)
curl "https://api.eveses.com/v1/numbers/orders/act_9f2" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $EVESES_API_KEY"
# → { "id":"act_9f2", "status":"received", "code":"483920" }Pricing
Flat fee per rental period from your wallet; longer periods and volume lower the effective rate.
