Disposable email extensions, and where they stop working
Disposable email extensions are handy for a newsletter you will never read. They run on a small set of throwaway domains that sign-up forms now check against blocklists, and the inbox usually vanishes within the hour, together with any password-reset email you might need later.
A rented Eveses inbox is on a mail domain those lists do not target, it is yours, and you read it in the panel next to the tab you are signing up in. From $0.15.
Throwaway versus rented
- Throwaway: free; known disposable domains; gone within minutes or hours; often readable by anyone who guesses the address.
- Rented inbox: paid; ordinary mail domains; stays for its term; only you read it, in the panel or the cabinet.
With a number and a captcha
Sign-ups that ask for an email usually ask for a phone and show a captcha too. The panel does all three from one balance, so the form can be finished without switching tools.
Why your temp address gets rejected
Disposable-mail services publish their domains, so those domains end up on public blocklists that sign-up forms check before they even send the email. The form says "please use a valid email" and the throwaway inbox never receives anything. That check is about the domain, not about you, which is why an inbox on an ordinary domain gets through.
What it does not do
- It is not free.
- An inbox receives mail; it does not send.
